Ahoy, caps and ahoy 2020! We have just left the old, really fantastic year 2019 behind us, and are already on the starting blocks of our next very special event! Since we love to discover new places and call them our home, we couldn't imagine a better start for the new year than to open another Kapten & Son store right from the start! For our new berth we have also come up with something very special - starting January 10th you can discover our Kapten & Son world in the Austrian capital Vienna! We are opening our first permanent international store and couldn't be prouder!

But strictly speaking, the amusement park - officially called Wurstelprater - is only a small part of the enormous area and is surrounded by countless green spaces as well as the Danube Canal. Even though the Wurstelprater may seem like any other amusement park at first glance, you should still pay the carnival a visit - because a ride on the 123-year-old Ferris wheel, which is also a famous landmark of the city, is an absolute Vienna adventurers must! So take your time, relax a little and enjoy the fantastic view of the city and the surrounding park areas during an unforgettable ride on the historic Ferris wheel!
Do you also love to stroll through huge markets and be guided by the wonderful smells of various delicacies? Then the Vienna Naschmarkt is definitely the right place for you! There are more than 150 stands offering a wide variety of delicacies and you can taste the best Austrian specialities as well as those from countless other countries! Be it fruit, vegetables, meat, sweets, bread or other delicacies - there is definitely something for every gourmet at the Naschmarkt and you will experience a real Viennese institution! So don't miss this time-honored Viennese tradition and go on a little culinary journey on the biggest inner-city market in Vienna!
St. Stephen's Cathedral
Besides the Vienna giant Ferris wheel, St. Stephen's Cathedral is of course one of the most famous landmarks of the Austrian capital! "Steffl", as the church is also affectionately called by the Viennese, however, has had to look back on some unpleasant events in its long history and was often the victim of fires and wars. Since its grand reopening around 1952, the cathedral church of St. Stephan has been shining in its still existing splendor and you will definitely not be able to escape the amazement at the sight of the magnificent architecture!
